The staff and leadership here at Moss Bluff Bible Church is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. Jeremy Smith
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jeremy grew up in Moss Bluff under the teaching of Pastor Ed Rose here at MBBC. The Lord called him back from an office in Houston to work with the youth here, and Jeremy obeyed. He would go on to earn a Master's degree from Trinity Theological Seminary and, after 13 years of guiding the youth, be elected to Senior Pastor of Moss Bluff Bible church. He and his wife, Amy, have faithfully served the church all the while raising two exceptional daughters who are likewise faithful servants of God.
Kenny Mercer
Music Pastor
Kenny Mercer has served in the music ministry at MBBC since the early 2000s and has been the Music Pastor since 2014. Alongside his wife, Robin, and their three children- Aubrey, Gabe, and Noah- he has been dedicated to leading the church in sincere, Christ-centered worship. His heart for ministry is to help people connect deeply with the Lord through music that honors Him.
Nate Ellender
Associate/Youth Pastor
Nate is a lifelong Christian who joined MBBC after leaving the Air Force and returning home from Virginia in 2013. Nate has served the church with both labor and teaching, and in September of 2024 volunteered to lead the youth group after the previous youth leader was called to another posting. He and his wife, Rachel, work hard to teach the children and youth of MBBC about the love of God and the challenge of serving Him, while raising six sons in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
